Mrs. Michael's 2nd graders at Orchard Hill are busy working on their parade floats after reading Balloons Over Broadway. They coded Finch Robots and added "balloons" on top. Look at all this critical thinking, coding, collaboration, and communicating!

Mrs. Van Cleve and Mrs. Rothweiler's 3rd graders from North Cedar worked on following directions, text features, math problems, writing skills, and teamwork while completing this #goosechase. Way to go 3rd graders!

Having so much fun in a coaching cycle on cup stacking with some of our youngest students!

Mrs. Roe and Instructional Coach Mrs. Betts teamed together to do a very fun but equally challenging problem solving activity involving cup stacking for these 2nd graders at Cedar Heights.

Cedar Heights 6th graders in Mrs. Gerbigs room are getting ready for their final sales presentations on Tues. They 3D designed &printed fidgets that they are "selling". The work they've done w/ creating, collaborating, and critical thinking is off the charts! #authenticlearning

Kindergarten artists were learning all about Radial Symmetry and professional artist Andy Goldsworthy while taking part in this month's maker challenge. Mrs. Nolte and her artists are superstars!

4th graders in both Ms. Pender and Mrs. Brown's room have been very busy problem solving through coding the @ozobot. They are working cooperatively together, while really stretching those thinking muscles. Way to go 4th graders!

1st graders in Mrs. Eblings class at Cedar Heights were exploring coding through some new robots called the Tale Bot! They worked together whole group, then got to explore in pairs.
