I have seen many unreasonable comments like yours and others. So I thought I should address this quickly, unfiltered. If at any point in time you see my campaign posters anywhere, don’t ever assume that I am begging you to do me a favor and vote for me. The last thing I would do is beg you or anybody to give me the chance to lead. What I want is for you to see it in me naturally that I can lead and deliver. It would be very easy for me to come out and say things you want to hear, package the lies, and feed them to you 3 times in a day. But if I say “the story changes with us” I desperately mean it for myself, my kids, and every other citizen who believes WE can make it happen. I will never force myself on anybody. Just like I told @emmaikumeh & @_Isiomaa during our meeting... If I see who is capable of delivering the best of the best, the person has done me a favor. I will step back like I never even attempted to try in the first place. So why am I choosing politics? Just like I told @Jack_ng01 ... I am choosing politics because I am tired of being a keyboard warrior like many of you. I am choosing politics because I want it to be on record that I tried not just virtually but also physically. I know it won't be easy... I would age more quickly and get my mental health tested over and over again. But if you watched me on the news when my father died or read the story on @MobilePunch etc, i talked about how I rushed to the nurse to quickly come check on my Dad because he was breathing too fast and begging for oxygen, and instead of her to come do the needful, she said “i can’t use hunger to attend to your Dad and until i am done with my food, i am not leaving here”. HE DIED. But I tell you one truth, in an environment I will lead, a nurse like her would NEVER want to be there. Dont take me for my words, just come closer. I am not here to brag about myself, but one thing I will tell you is that in a leadership position, you won't have the mind to mess with the people I am taking care of. I REPEAT... Under my leadership, you will never have the mind to deny my people what they deserve, and go free. Directly and indirectly, I have hovered around the corridors of power since I was little. The first time I knew what a voter's card was, my uncle was running for office, which he won under the PDP. In fact, I think he is running for office again under APC. I have moved from one hotel to another, one state house to another, one campaign ground to another... But I tell you for free, no politician will tell you I have collected 5 naira for fuel. If I don't buy your ideology, I am out. Again, you can ask @emmaikumeh, I once did that walk with him. So talking about money, the 300 million Naira you mentioned I won't say it is small, I have been offered way more, you can ask @Elkrosmediahub and a few others here... I have rejected something better than that. You can also ask @donsoj52. The day you see me start praising your oppressors (of which I am close to some of them), just know for sure that I have left you guys behind. Or was it when I was almost picked up for a tweet by your DSS years ago? You can ask @valerian247 about the condition they gave me to shut up. But I still tweet, yeah? What I want is for you all to wake up, it doesn't have to be me. I don’t hunger to lead, I don't want to be your president... I want a Nigeria we can all be proud of. A Nigeria where seeing @PoliceNG on the road doesn't give you a heart attack. A Nigeria where we have more foreigners arriving than citizens departing. A Nigeria where basic things like providing electricity won't be like the government is doing us a favor. If YOU are capable, LEAD... I will stand with YOU. We need the right people to REBUILD NIGERIA (@TheRebuildNG). We deserve a NIGERIA that would be a HOME, not a survival ground. Lastly, 300M is not a small amount, but it is also not my problem.
