I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if a player doesn't want to play for Chelsea, don't sign him. He's a very good player, no doubt, but he has injury concerns and isn't the tallest. You can argue that height isn't an issue because Cucurella isn't tall either, and that's fair. But the bigger issue is his commitment. If his heart is somewhere else, let him go there. Chelsea should only be signing players who are hungry, who are ready to fight for the badge, and who genuinely want to be at the club. If he wants to come, then go for him. If he doesn't, move on and find someone else. There are plenty of quality left-backs available for under £50 million who could do a great job for Chelsea. Why spend £60–70 million on a player who's not fully committed? This squad needs players with the right mentality, players who are proud to wear the shirt and are ready to give everything for the club.
