Working with @ICGlobalCitizen for a third year really helped us to re-think our units and plan with authentic, meaningful, and mindful action from the start.

G3 students @ICS_school showcased their learning through a 'Living Museum'. A fantastic HWEO transdisciplinary unit, bridging social studies, language, visual and performing arts, and design, connecting to students' lives/cultures. #pypchat

Returning from a school visit, I reflected on how our definition of High-Quality Learning is visible. In PreK/K1 this week, I saw transformative, inclusive, joyful learning, where our youngest learners embrace challenges and create authentic connections to the world. @ICS_School

PYPx - a celebration of learning! As well as sharing the process, understandings, and reflections visitors also got to experience an exhibit that showcased learning products, such as performances, art installations, games in Deutsch, and design projects. @ICS_School @ibpyp

As part of their unit of inquiry, G1 students @ICS_School learnt about the history and lived experiences of others. Resulting in a wonderful exhibit, this unit built understanding and connections between our G1 students and members of our community. #ibpyp @jforsythe08

We kicked off the festive season with a true #Zurich tradition, the #SingingChristmasTree! Students and teachers gathered at the Zurich Christmas Market to serenade the market goers, passersby, and our #ICSZcommunity. Our ICS Singers, warmed up the night with festive cheer.

As well as the frost, there was a suprise in the forest for our preschoolers today. Samichlaus emerged from his cottage bringing bread men to the children, but first they entertained him by singing songs in German. #tradition #Samichlaus @ICS_School

An inspirational week of PD with @Inspirecitizen1 where each team had a half day planning to reflect and re-think units. So many resources were shared, helping us find the heart and consider the ‘so what’ of our units, ensuring they are relevant and engaging for all. @ICS_School

My office today - preparing for our joint accreditation and a crosswalk between NEASC impacts and IB standards and practices. Love that both organisations are focused on growth and development. #clp @iborganization @ICS_School

@delucachristine @cfebrey @ibpyp @JoannaMaryMoon1 @sjosborne12 Towards the end of last year in G1, freeflow transitioned into workshops organised very similar to this. Based on student interest we offered something different as part of HWEO. It would be good to connect to compare documentation of learning! :)

As part of the Sharing the planet unit, Arts teachers, as well as homeroom teachers offered choice workshops to G2 students at ICS_School, enabling them to explore the emotions connected to peace and conflict from different perspectives. #transdisciplianry @ibpyp @JoannaMaryMoon1

@sjosborne12 @ibpyp @JoannaMaryMoon1 Absolutely. I will mention this at our SGIS coordinator's meeting on Friday. Thinking we could host a day where the focus is on transdisciplinary learning and agency.
