I am just back from the Oval and I regret to inform you that London has in fact fallen. More Arsenal shirts than Surrey shirts. Forget about Palace or Charlton. Arsenal fans everywhere in South London. Yesterday I was in East London at my parents - their local pub had more Arsenal fans in it than West Ham fans for the Conference League 3 years ago. Lots more. Not even close. The "London FC" people are right. I don't like it, but they're right. And given the way that London tends to eat the world, don't get smug if you're outside of London. If we have half a decade of Arsenal dominance, by the end of it they'll have taken over Liverpool and Manchester too and the economy will be one giant Arsenal merch store with a few farms and data centres tacked on. Foreign leaders will grant profitable trade and visa deals in return for being allowed exclusive pre-access to the new Declan Rice hologram experience in the Emirates Museum.

Still think I was basically right about this! There was so much clamour last season for a 'proper' centre-forward but I still reckon Arsenal might have been better without one
Peter Ormerod@EntsPeter

@barneyronay But they might not have made those chances if they'd had a 'proper' centre-forward. And they've plenty of players who can score goals. It's like how Lukaku was the final piece in Chelsea's jigsaw, until it turned out that he was actually from the wrong jigsaw and it all broke

@Kieranbcfc2 I think if you get the 5 spots in the UCL your league shouldn’t get conference league places

All for England becoming the dominant nation in Europe, others had their own periods, but 9 teams feels a bit ridiculous. Add in we’re virtually guaranteed winners of Europa and Conference every season and you’d expect reform from UEFA at some stage.
Sky Bet@SkyBet

England will have NINE clubs in Europe next season, a new record for a single nation... 𝐔𝐂𝐋: Arsenal Man City Man Utd Aston Villa Liverpool 𝐔𝐄𝐋: Bournemouth Sunderland Palace 𝐔𝐄𝐂𝐋: Brighton That's almost half of the Premier League 😮‍💨

I've been driving for 35 years in August and actually used to like driving. Can honestly say, its not enjoyable any more. People are inconsiderate, me first, hurry up, aggressive, if you take 2 seconds pulling away from the lights - beeeep, basically arseholes. Moan over 🙃

Arsenal’s triumph in finally winning the Premier League again after 22 long, often eyeball-wrenchingly tortuous years has gone down like a Keir Starmer motivational ‘I’m not leaving!’ speech, which is ironic given the Prime Minister is an avid Gooner like me. It’s hard to understand why a club that boasts a fanbase including us, Jeremy Corbyn, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame, the late Osama bin Laden and Prince Harry (whose matchday allegiance has followed a similar path to his royal duties, in that he never turns up) attracts such opprobrium that we were recently named the ‘most-hated supporters’ in the league. But as with Millwall in their hooligan heyday, if no one likes us, we don’t care. Throughout Sunday’s coronation at the (Crystal) Palace, the 3,000 travelling Arsenal fans proudly bellowed: ‘WE ARE UNBEARABLE!’ Though my smug glee was momentarily suspended when I was allowed to walk across the pitch with my sons to witness the trophy-lifting, and various groups in the hospitality boxes began chanting: ‘Piers Morgan is a wanker!’ I wouldn’t have minded so much, but they were Arsenal fans. ✍️ Piers Morgan Article | spectator.com/article/no-one… | @piersmorgan

Minimum wage was £5.00 in 2005, & a first class stamp was 32p  Now in 2025, minimum wage is £12.21 & a 1st class stamp is £1.70! So one hour of work got you 15 first class stamps But now one hour of work will only get you 7 1st class stamps  That’s a 531% rise in stamps but only 142% rise in pay  If wages had kept up with the price of stamps, the minimum wage would be £26.55 an hour This is NOT just inflation. The economy is eating the value of your money This is about much more than stamps. Food, electricity, travel are all similar The hard working people are struggling to survive because costs are soaring far quicker than wages Something needs to change, but will it?

@ColinBrazierTV Brexit like all was a decision based on the failures of multiple governments to create an environment that is designed to improve people’s lives. If people’s lives had significantly improved over the past 20years Brexit wouldn’t have happened.

Nandy is right. Too many on the Left think Brexit was a spasm of anguish from ‘low IQ’ voters. They cannot even imagine the reality. Which is that Brexit was not an event but a process taking decades. It was the settled and considered opinion of millions. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2026/…

The day before local elections, Keir Starmer's regime are mass banning anyone attending our Unite The Kingdom rally from entering Britain. Let that f*cking sink in!
Ada Lluch@AdaLluch

They just cancelled my ETA to the United Kingdom. What a coincidence it happened a couple of days after I privately confirmed with @TRobinsonNewEra I would attend the UTK rally on May 16th. Call me crazy, but it certainly looks like they are trying to sabotage his rally.
