He’d never ask for help. And he does absolutely all kinds for others so if anyone can donate, I’d appreciate it more than anything. justgiving.com/crowdfunding/m…

The way the fanbase is divided now tho, you’ll still get thousands reading this news giving it the “I wish him well” unfortunately for you me and your best mates who are on here who understand what Trent’s done, there’s thousands who just don’t get the club and understand why we’re all calling him a rat. Nobody should ever be wishing someone well who’s leaving for fuck all at his age when he’s an 80m player. He’s been at the club since he was a kid. Lived off Queens Drive. He’s a fucking rat.

@TimBolton1981 I was at that 22 final and it was the worst experience ever. Don’t remember the game when we finally got in just before half time . It wasn’t just around the stadium - it was the whole organisation. Paris can get in the bin and firmly shut the lid. Wouldn’t go back for free

“Having those conversations with relatives, explaining that their mother, their grandad, can only be treated in the corridor. That’s really hard, it eats away at people a little bit every day.”

@bigbaddoctor @Existential_Doc @MWLNHS Absolutely the best service , delivers palliative care exactly the way it should be. We are very very blessed and fortunate to be surrounded by this . Cannot stress enough the impact this has on the most deserving of our patients 💚

@Existential_Doc Also what made us start and develop our Palliative Care CNS ED service @MWLNHS

Admission to hospital at end of life is the only safe and responsible outcome for many people.
Collating palliative care admissions/ deaths in hospital as one “negative” ignores the fact that dying in hospital is absolutely the best place for many people and often supported exceptionally well.
Without reliable and timely access to social care, trained nursing/medical care, symptom control medicines and equipment, admissions to hospital will remain the only option for many.
Hospice beds are limited.
Future care planning and preferred place of care/death need to always take into consideration the local availability of resources. Without the infrastructure in place those who do remain at home will continue to face challenges and those involved in caring for them may worry about future deaths in community lowering professional thresholds for hospital referral.
Community, front door and ward patient care are one large continuum but it starts and often ends (admission and discharge) back with a focus on community.

The audacity of you to pretend to be surprised!
It's important to note that the RCN has been raising concerns about "corridor care" for some time. In September 2024, the RCN responded to NHS England's announcement on reporting patient care in corridors, stating:
"Nursing staff raised the alarm over treating patients in corridors and the system is beginning to respond.”

So called ‘corridor care’ is degrading, dehumanising and dangerous.
We must not normalise the unacceptable.

Corridor nurses and care in corridors utterly normalised (this is an advert for a corridor nurse but sadly it’s nothing new). Don’t be fooled as critical incidents stood down: they’ll be back. Almost every hospital is treating patients in corridors and car parks. @RCollEM
