It’s nearly impossible to *prove* a negative, like “no migrants have ever eaten pets.” It’s much easier to say, “Is pet eating happening on a scale that requires a policy solution?”

*what I mean is that we don’t change policy because one person steals or speeds or defends someone else. We enforce the laws we already have.
But when a lot of people die on the same stretch of road, we try find a way to try to stop that.

Let’s grant the (absurd notion) that there is a problem at a scale that needs to be addressed by policy* because famished immigrants are eating people’s pets.
If you’re a Christian, you should be at least as concerned about the hungry person as you are about the pet and owner.
