Ignoring the Hangman Page/MJF stipulation and saying it can easily be walked back proves you missed the whole point. It’s about story, stakes, and consequences. Ignoring that is classic fan myopia. This is why ‘smart’ fans never make good bookers.

If Hangman Page ever reneges on his stipulation if he loses to MJF, it undercuts the basics of storytelling. Stipulations are supposed to matter. If consequences can be walked back, future matches with stipulations lose stakes and fans stop caring if they can be undone. 1/2
