@consequence @JasonLaCanfora True. I man an old DC hardcore guy from the early 80’s. Some stuff holds up and some doesn’t. But when my son was starting a band in the 8th grade he started listening to my old recordings. When they heard Minor Threat they lit up! Just like I did in 1983.

"This album specifically, this to me embodies what that punk movement was. This guy has... remained pretty true to that, to that whole approach to life and community. Very influential to me in early early stages. "I think there's a bunch of stuff that you when you go back in your youth, you go back and listen to some of these albums, they don't hold up. There's not a lot to them. It was more about where you were, how old you were, what was around you. But then there's ones that just completely shine and transform, you know, like they they survive. @ArielEpstein @PremierLacrosse I love you Ariel and @JasonLaCanfora but as sports fans and gambling fans, we have to start thinking about prop bets on individuals in team sports. They and thier families are being terrorized by degenerate gamblers with threats of violence. Has to stop.

@allrockmusic With a passion. I saw REM open for The Police on August 21st, 1983 in Landover, MD. They basically played this album. I was about 20 rows from the stage and no one was paying attention. I was though. It was a rough set, but it was a stadium show and they were green. Awesome

100% I heard this the first time at a friends house who has a decent punk rock record collection in like 1982. Life changer.
