Someone broke into my house, removed all the knives and displayed them facing outward in a ritualistic, threatening manner while I was out. Sadly I've gotten multiple death threats over the years. When I raised employee wages 6 years ago I never imagined this reaction.

@chicagosmayor Why not work like this - survey the schools that had high rates of parents saying they'd do hybrid and determine if they will still do hybrid, and, if they will, then work to vaccinate those schools first. Then you can see how your plan is working and continue. (2/2)

We are completely committed to making sure everyone in the CPS community gets vaccinated as soon as possible. In fact, we have a data and equity driven plan to do just that.

#cpssickout We support parents keeping their kids out of class today in order to get @chicagosmayor and @ChiPubSchools to work for a sensible reopening plan, including vaccinating teachers and staff. We need to listen to @CTULocal1 and keep our teachers safe.

@JeffSolin @ChiPubSchools Attorneys from CPS have been calling and harrassing parents to see if teachers are contacting them privately and telling the parents their kids need to get back in school. Any new mayoral candidates???

Teacher submitted request for accommodation due to medical issues for his 5 year old. CPS denied it 3 times saying they reviewed all documents including notes from his child’s doctor. The guy used Bitly and there have been ZERO clicks on the links to his documents. @ChiPubSchools
