What would it look like if the disciples valued worship and community like many believers do their church gatherings? Peter - "My mother-in-law came in for the weekend." Andrew - "I was up kinda late last night." James (the son of Zebedee) - "Really needed some 'me' time." John - "I was there last week. Besides, I'm not really being fed." Philip - "Finally had a sunny day to hit the lake." Bartholomew - "Had brunch scheduled with my Uncle Zed." Thomas - "I doubt it would have been any good today." Matthew - "I had to get my taxes done." James (the son of Alphaeus) - "My dad (Alphaeus) wanted to fish today." Thaddaeus - "The kids needed a rest day." Simon - "I didn't hear my alarm. Because I didn't set it. Because I don't have one." Judas - "Getting tired of hearing the same old message." Going to church is not about checking a religious box off your "make God happy" list. It's about being invested in the lives of others. Participating in the mission of the gospel. Loving and being loved. Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo experience. Pull up a seat at the table. It is a level table and there is room for all of us. - author unknown

1. God's existence is not incompatible with the existence of evil. A good and all-powerful God might have preferred to create a world filled with free creatures where meaningful things could happen (as opposed to a world filled with divinely controlled puppets who never did anything wrong). The evil in the world isn't a result of God's lacking power or goodness — rather, it's the high cost of giving humanity freedom and allowing life to be meaningful. 2. If evil exists, it follows that God exists. Without a transcendent standard of goodness, there would be no such thing as "evil." There would be no true moral significance to anything that happens. There would be no real sense in which the properties of "goodness" or "badness" would attach to anything we do. The fact that there is real, objective evil in the world refutes a naturalistic universe where everything is reducible to physics and chemistry. 3. Christianity doesn't say that God is good and powerful and does nothing about evil or injustice. Rather, it says He has suffered to make right what's gone wrong with the world. He has taken it upon Himself to pay the price for evil, and so — far from refuting God's goodness and love — evil has made it possible for God to demonstrate both in the most profound way possible.

The following three conditions are incompatible: 1. God is Omnipotent (all powerful) 2. God is Omnibenevolent (all good) 3. Evil Exists 1. If God is all powerful, can He not prevent evil from existing? 2. If God is all good, should He not prevent evil from existing? 3. If evil exists, then either God is not all powerful or not all good. My solution to this problem: THERE IS NO GOD. The Oxford Companion to Philosophy says that the theodicy problem of how a good and loving God can allow evil to afflict its creations “has always been the most powerful objection to traditional theism.” Indeed it is...

The @UPCIORG church in Lahaina Maui still stands in the bottom left of this picture. Not a building stands around it. We hope to have a distribution at this location in the future. A light in the darkness.

You've got one month to turn $1,000 into $10,000... Here's what I'd do: P.S. This is how I built my first 7-figure company... while living in the back of a van. 1. Buy cleaning supplies and a ladder. Should be able to get all the supplies you need for a couple hundred bucks. 2. Hire someone to help wash the windows. Knock on 100 doors a day offering to wash windows for $5 each. Average house has 20 windows, so roughly $100/house. That's ~$500/day. Pay your employee ~$25/hour ($200/day). They wash the windows, you knock on the doors. Once you fill that day's schedule, start working ahead. Fill the rest of the week. Once you have the week filled.... 3. Hire another window washer. Backfill the schedule given your higher capacity. Go from 5-7 houses/day to 10-14. $500/day of revenue becomes $1,000 (minimum) $400/day of labor $600/day of profit With this crew, you only need 16 full days/month to hit $10k. Or... After booking out two full weeks... 4. Raise your prices from $5/window to $10 (this is still very low for most markets) Now, you only need to book out 8 days/month to hit $10k. Or, put another way, 2 days/week. Depending on season and location, instead of washing windows you could: • Mow • Rake leaves • Pressure wash • Shovel driveways • Winterize windows • Roof snow removal • Hang Christmas lights This is how I built my first business. We did $1M in top-line revenue in the first year... All while I was living in the back of a van. That's how I know it works. No excuses.

Louisiana dropped visits to Pornhub by 80% without issuing a single ban. All they did was require an actual age verification, rather than just clicking a button that anyone can lie about. Porn use is impulsive. If you put up even a small barrier many people will stop. Copy Louisiana! politico.com/news/magazine/…

Trans people say misgendering someone is "violence" Dylan Mulvaney thinks misgendering him should be "illegal." Biological men believe it's their right to use the same bathroom as little girls. Male athletes think it's their right to dominate women on the playing field. NPR is reporting that transgender groups are arming up at gun clubs. Joe Biden and Karine Jean-Pierre say the transgender community will "fight back" and are "fierce." Big Medicine calls it "health care" to permanently mutilate otherwise healthy children and reaffirm a mental delusion. The Nashville trans shooter killed 6 Christians by shooting up a school but they won't release her "blueprint to destroy civilization" manifesto. A second trans shooter in Colorado was arrested before he could shoot up another school. The transgender community is demanding we teach our kids to celebrate and participate in their radical gender ideology. And they want you to think we're the intolerant ones.
