@liberty_malley what exercise would have its range of motion restricted by a tshirt, even an oversized one? granted i don’t work out in oversized shirts, just regular size, but i’ve never had a problem with movement in cotton leggings and a tshirt. they stretch just fine for me,genuinely asking

the whole gym clothes discourse has reminded me that so many people don’t understand the purpose of gym clothes. some of us wear “tight, skimpy” outfits in synthetic fibres because those are actually the most functional

@Caspertron12 umm depends on your opinion i guess, i can def see why people would want a fabric that’s more flexible and stuff i just hate the feeling of sweating in polyester so much i think Big Polyester supporters should be shot on sight

@madi_rang7 @mistahdewbwah @CEMENTPIPES @hellspatisserie everything is made to make you feel like that that’s just what misogyny is all about and how else are they supposed to sell you shit. but you should try to be conscious of that and resist it and that goes for anything that perpetuates beauty standards not just porn

@madi_rang7 @CEMENTPIPES @hellspatisserie ummm i mean yeah but those are essentially marketing gimmicks… i think its weird to take them too seriously or assume other people do. maybe if they’re ultra porn brained

The cuck manifesto
chlo 🕸@chainbelts

@CEMENTPIPES @hellspatisserie this is predicated on the assumption that everyone watches porn in a “imagining myself having sex with this person” way and not a “its hot to see a penis go into a vagina” way. i’m watching for the scenario, you couldn’t pay me to even remember what the people look like

@CuriousBunnie12 or rather its not that i don’t think they’re ever true but it doesn’t matter to me either way like i’m not trying to respect sex workers by watching porn yknow

“i’m watching for the scenario, you couldn’t pay me to even remember what the people look like” not exactly a glowing endorsement for pornography being art and sex workers being respected

@hellspatisserie Idk i think this is more complicated, it makes sense to take issue with the person you’re in love with looking at another person and them thinking “i wish i had that instead”. Is that not a universally soul crushing feeling? Is caring monogamy so rare?

@muppetrabies_ @uncanny_eli then women reading erotic literature are also cheating, no? because there are many many women on the internet who insist that that’s different somehow

@uncanny_eli I think the problem comes down to you begin fantasizing about people that aren't your partner. You start imagining what something might feel like, knowing your partner can't provide that? At least that's how I kinda see it?

@SavageTomas @ImaginationPla5 @pinkheretic strawman… no one’s saying it’s a mistake, but it is a person that would not be able to survive without the use of another person’s organs. and you are not legally required to grant someone use of your organs just because they would otherwise die

No law compels you to donate blood or organs to your child. If your child needed your kidney & you refused, you can’t be imprisoned. Your bodily autonomy over your organs is legally protected as a parent. Applying that equally to pregnancy is the argument for abortion rights.
LifeAfterTech@ALifeAfterTech

@pinkheretic As a father I can tell you I was never legally able to stop using my body, blood and organs, in caring for my children. If I did I could be thrown in prison. If I did and the child died I could even be sentenced to death. Maybe we should just apply the law equally.
