Good news.
ChainBois just passed Stage 2 (MVP) in the Avalanche Build Games program.
That means the game works, the tech checks out, and we’re moving to Stage 3: GTM & Vision.
For anyone new here:
ChainBois is a competitive third-person shooter where your character is an NFT that grows with your gameplay.
Win more → your character becomes more valuable.
Simple.
Next step: players, tournaments, and scaling the ecosystem.
Let’s keep building. 🔺

I will also be streaming the @chainbois beta test, can't miss that of course, looking forward to it.🎮🔥
Chainbois Games mixes blockchain with fun, straightforward gameplay.
You actually own what you earn, from in-game assets to rewards.

English

Yes, but in a controlled way. We want creators to be able to build maps, modes, and experiences on top of ChainBois without breaking the competitive core.
Over time we plan to open up tools and APIs so the community can create content that plugs into the on-chain progression and tournament system.
That way creators can add to the world, and players can still earn and compete inside a shared economy.

You can’t buy wins in ChainBois.
You can only buy access.
Better gear or a higher-level NFT might get you into tougher tournaments or unlock more options, but the match is still decided by how you play.
If you’re not good, you lose and your NFT doesn’t level up.
Skill moves you forward, not spending.

@SomniaInsider Làm sao ChainBois tránh tình trạng pay-to-win khi có yếu tố on-chain asset?

Most Web3 games loop around grinding tokens or flipping NFTs. ChainBois loops around winning.
You play matches, you win, your NFT levels up, and that level puts you into better tournaments with bigger rewards.
That makes every match matter.
The better you play, the more valuable your on-chain identity becomes.

@SomniaInsider So với các game Web3 khác, ChainBois khác biệt gì về thiết kế vòng lặp gameplay?
Tiếng Việt

@gsomitoken @SomniaInsider What goes on-chain are the things that matter long term: NFT ownership, progression, tournament entries, and rewards.
That’s where transparency and trust actually add value.
English

@SomniaInsider What percentage of the game logic is currently executed on-chain, and why?
English

@cartermason03 @SomniaInsider By separating play from ownership.
The match itself runs off-chain so it stays fast and responsive.
When the match ends, the results go on-chain to update NFT levels, rewards, and ownership.
Players get a smooth shooter, and the blockchain keeps the progress real.
English

@SomniaInsider How does ChainBois balance fast-paced gameplay with true on-chain ownership?
English

Low latency matters for the game client, not the blockchain. All real-time combat, movement, shooting, and voice chat run off-chain on fast game servers so matches feel smooth.
Somnia comes in after the match, where we record results, update NFT levels, and handle rewards.
That way players get real-time combat without lag, while ownership and progression still live on-chain.
English

@SomniaInsider Somnia offers low latency—how does ChainBois leverage this for real-time combat?
English

@SomniaInsider What is the biggest technical challenge in bringing a TPS game to Web3?
English

For us, “feels good” has nothing to do with blockchain.
It means the shooting is responsive, the movement is smooth, the weapons feel distinct, and matches are competitive. That all lives in the game client, not on-chain.
Blockchain only comes in after the match. That’s where we record wins, update NFT levels, and handle rewards. Players shouldn’t feel wallets, gas, or transactions while they’re aiming and moving.
They should just feel like they’re playing a solid shooter.
If the game doesn’t feel good on its own, the Web3 layer doesn’t matter. We build it the other way around.
English

@SomniaInsider How does ChainBois define a TPS that truly “feels good to play” on blockchain?
English

We'll be sharing recent updates and you can ask me anything!
