> Apply heavy tariffs on imports on pretence of punishing foreign countries > Companies push the tariff cost to american consumers > The American consumer pays more for the same product > Supereme court declares tariffs illegal orders a refund > $149 billion refunded to companies not american consumers who actually paid for it Trump just made his billionaire corporate friends rich not once but twice at the expense of the American consumer, kinda genius ngl.

“Vete a Conciliación y Arbitraje”.

They told the whole world to avoid China. Decouple. De-risk. Sanctions. Tariffs. War rhetoric. Then 12 US capitalists flew to Beijing to beg the Communist Party for deals. Elon Musk. Top CEOs. Trump himself. All in China. Smiling. Shaking hands. Asking for business. The same politicians who call China an "evil empire" are now standing in Beijing with their hands out. Told Africa to stay away from China. Told Europe to cut ties. Told everyone China is a threat. But when their economy is burning, when their factories are shutting, when their own system is failing, where do they run? Beijing. They do not believe their own lies. They just want you to. Hypocrisy has no borders. But neither does desperation.

🇺🇸🧐 This is beyond outrageous. Openly, shamelessly, without fear of anyone, he is robbing America right in front of the entire country — robbing all of us. Kaitlan Collins, host of CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins, described the situation this way: “Imagine suing the government for $10 billion while also being the person who controls that very government. That’s exactly what is happening right now. Donald Trump, sitting in the White House, has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the Treasury Department and the IRS — the very Treasury he controls, the very IRS he oversees, the very government he leads. He is effectively both the plaintiff and the defendant, and he wants taxpayers — you, me, every working family in America — to hand him $10 billion. Just think about that.” Trump even appeared on television boasting that he had already “won,” essentially bragging that he was negotiating a settlement with himself. Then his lawyers walked into federal court asking for a 90-day delay — not to fight the lawsuit, but to “reach an agreement.” An agreement between Donald Trump and Donald Trump, paid for with your money. But then something unexpected happened. Judge Kathleen Williams looked at this circus and basically said: “Wait a second. You are telling me you are suing yourself and expect me to approve a $10 billion payment from the U.S. Treasury directly into your personal pocket? Absolutely not.” She rejected the 90-day delay. She demanded separate reports from both sides — despite both sides effectively being controlled by the same person. Then she took the extraordinary step of appointing three of the nation’s most respected law firms as independent advisers to the court. Why? Because $10 billion of taxpayer money is at stake. What is really happening here is terrifying: a sitting president allegedly using the power of his office, and a Justice Department under his influence, to settle a personal lawsuit with himself and funnel public money into his own bank account. Constitutional law already has a name for this: a collusive lawsuit. The Supreme Court ruled on this principle more than 200 years ago. If both sides are effectively the same party, the courts have no authority to proceed. The Constitution requires a real conflict, real opposing sides — not a friendly deal between a man and his reflection in the mirror. And this is not some isolated stunt. Critics argue it is part of a broader strategy: stage a fake legal battle, force a surrender, cash the check, and walk away. But this time the number is staggering: $10 billion. Money that could repair roads, fund schools, support veterans, or feed hungry children. Instead, critics say it is being redirected through one of the most transparent legal scams America has ever witnessed. And the people supposed to defend the public interest? The Justice Department. Government officials whose job is to protect taxpayers. They are not fighting. They are not even pretending to fight. The judge sees it. Top legal scholars see it. The Constitution itself sees it. The only remaining question is whether the system still has enough courage to say “No.” Because if a president can sue himself and pay himself with public money, then the word “government” no longer means anything. It simply means: the person holding the pen writes the check — and everyone else pays the bill.

🚨 Big Auto Just Declared War on Your Wallet You buy a $60,000+ Cadillac or Chevy… and GM still wants to charge you every month just to use your own car. By 2028, GM plans to kill Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in all new vehicles. Navigation, music, texting, even basic connectivity? All locked behind their paid subscription service. They’ll let you own the metal… but they’ll rent you the brain. This isn’t innovation — it’s a subscription trap on wheels. You already paid for the car. Now they want a monthly fee for features that used to just work. American innovation used to mean better products. Now it means better ways to nickel-and-dime you after the sale. Who else is tired of this? Tag a car buyer who needs to see this.

I just spent 2 incredible weeks in Italy and it is so frustrating to come back to the U.S… How is it possible @RobertKennedyJr that the Italian food supply is so vastly superior. I literally ate bread at every meal, dessert multiple times per day, and generally ate way more than I do in the U.S. Not once did I have acid reflux. Not one headache, no digestive problems, and I didn’t gain any weight. If I ate the same way in the U.S. (I used to at times) I would have gone through a full bottle of Tums and Advil just to get through the day… WHY does the U.S. allow glyphosate in wheat, high fructose corn syrup in food and who knows what in our milk products? The difference in quality of life in Italy vs the U.S. is staggering from their common sense (anti corporate) food regulation. WHY aren’t more people upset about this? The U.S. is the richest country in the world and we eat like one of the poorest.

🚨BREAKING: Two researchers from UPenn and Boston University just published a paper that should be uncomfortable reading for every CEO automating their workforce right now. The argument is straightforward. Every company replacing workers with AI is also eliminating its own future customers. Laid off workers stop spending. Enough of them stop spending and nobody can afford to buy anything. The companies that fired everyone end up selling into an economy with no purchasing power left. Every executive can see this. The math is not complicated. But here is why nobody stops. If you do not automate, your competitor does. They cut costs, lower prices, take your market share, and you collapse anyway. So every company automates knowing it is collectively destructive because the alternative is dying alone while everyone else survives. The researchers proved this is a Prisoner's Dilemma playing out in real time. The numbers are already moving. Block cut nearly half its 10,000 employees this year. Jack Dorsey said AI made those roles unnecessary and that within the next year the majority of companies will reach the same conclusion. Salesforce replaced 4,000 customer support agents with AI. Goldman Sachs deployed a coding tool that lets one engineer do the work of five. Over 100,000 tech workers were laid off in 2025 and AI was cited as the primary driver in more than half those cases. 80% of US workers hold jobs with tasks susceptible to AI automation. The researchers tested every proposed solution. Universal basic income does not change a single company's incentive to automate. Capital income taxes adjust profit levels but not the per-task decision to replace a human. Collective bargaining cannot hold because automating is always the dominant strategy. They also identified what they call a Red Queen effect. Better AI does not solve the problem, it accelerates it. Every company chases faster automation to gain market share over rivals but at the end everyone has automated equally, the gains cancel out, and the only thing left is more destroyed demand. The one thing the math says could work is a Pigouvian automation tax. A per-task charge that forces companies to account for the demand they destroy each time they replace a worker. The conclusion is that this is not a transfer of wealth from workers to owners. Both sides lose. Workers lose income. Companies lose customers. It is a deadweight loss with no market mechanism to stop it on its own. (Link in the comment)
