There are quality assistant coaches who would jump on a grenade for the chance to be a senior coach.
I think the tepid responses from these two immediately rules both out of the running.

No surprised it’s happened but compared to previous drawn out negotiations, it’s been finalised very quickly. That suggests next to no haggling over money. Great work by the club and KP clearly happy and probably aware that he’s missed a lot of footy in recent years.
