@WolfNamedRom Sometimes it’s down to people being less tolerant now to others as communities shrink and individualism explodes into new unhealthy levels. One hiccup means the relationship becomes unsalvageable. Friends can’t have disagreements and still be friends anymore.

People don’t talk about the grief of missing friends you don’t talk to anymore enough. And the regret and pain of having fumbled them/let them down in some way, or of not having reasons/closure for their departure from your life. One of life’s big unspoken pains I think.

I’ve cried for lost friendships more than I’ve ever cried for a man. lol.

I want to smack whoever taught me as a child that “friendship is forever” Friendship is only for seasons, rarely is it forever.
