Back to Riftbound for a bit as we gear up for ATL regs. I was able to secure my bye in my first Skirmish with Irelia today ☺️ But dam do Riftbound tournaments always take this long 😪

@Bambodinho been trying this too and liking it! scaling/ap kai'sa wiped the floor with me though. hows that matchup been for you?

Testing Kai'Sa midrange for Lille so far it looks good, but I still have a lot of testing ahead of me 🙂

The same Draven player made the trip back to my Local Skirmish. Yet again my run ends after losing to them twice (once in Swiss, once in the Finals). This time they were on Miracle (non-detonate). Every one of our matches was extremely close. I just can’t come out on top 😅

@RunesAndRift Wonder how this works with time warp. It banishes itself, so does it still give a stack?

The Jhin Legend is now 100% confirmed! He will be the 🔴🔵 Legend in the upcoming #Riftbound Unleashed set! Resource generation seems to be the theme for Jhin in Set 3. Now the only Legend we’re missing is 🟡🟠

Bring tissues to wipe away your tears. Went 1-2 into draven. Essentialy I like to go fast into them and get ahead on points. Then with maybe a well placed punch/buffs try and finish. The mu is quite rough because of the cheap purple spells. Camel helps a bit but sometimes its too small.

Back in Vienna from Las Vegas RQ Riftbound. Went 10-3 with midrange Yi which was the same record as best of. Once again mixed feelings on the event. Long days again all weekend long. Played @simplywojtek list from bologna. Deck is phenomenal and if they bring out a guide you should have a look.

I'm ngl, "Miracle Draven" is probably the dumbest name this deck could've gotten... Storm, cycle, scam. all of those are better and more fitting terms/names than "Miracle" big L Riftbound Community

@hardarkness @GhaelWindss now the damage all resolves at once, so there's no longer an opportunity for zhonyas to proc between reflexive triggers, so a single rain/star can't kill a unit through zhonyas anymore [At least this is my understanding of the change]

Me describing how reflexive triggers work to my magic-pilled friends in #riftbound: If the spell says “do this x times:”, it creates a reflexive trigger when it resolves. This means that once it resolves, you’re going to place x copies of the ability on the stack and choose targets during that time. Visualize these copies of “deal 2 damage” as a storm-like stack in magic except it’s not copies of a spell, it’s copies of a trigger. Yes, you can respond to any of the triggers on the chain/stack with reactions as they resolve.

@chalcopnictogen Try to stabilize when they’re at 5-6. Mindsplitter helps you rip their answers. If they start strong with Culls into Blades for your single threats, it’s pretty difficult.

5-0 with Yasuo at my locals tonight. 45 players. 2-0 Lee 2-0 Viktor 2-0 Viktor 2-1 Kai’sa 2-0 Kai’sa I want to play the Kai’sa matchup more to tailor the list and I need to play into Yi and Annie, but I like the deck a lot. Very high skill ceiling.
