A great way to do this is have students use Flipgrid to make a video of themselves holding up a sign w/their preferred name and pronouncing it for you. A great way to put names with faces and learn correct pronunciation. Also easy to refer back to if needed.

Make your mark! Our #DotDay display @HilliardWolves from last year is even more complete. Wolfie is painting with dots from every student, and 3D dots have been created from every student’s custom colored sonobe unit! @peterhreynolds

Tried this out with my fun fifth grade folks today. It was amazingly uplifting to read these post-its and see the great reflections from students.
