Forcing an animal to drink alcohol or any contaminated substance is NOT a celebration. It is cruel.
Such shameful acts for a few views and cheap fun only defame our festivals. Holi is about love, joy, and togetherness not torture.
Animals cannot digest alcohol. This innocent buffalo will suffer while the drunk people walk away laughing. They have no voice to complain, no way to defend themselves.
This is sheer stupidity. Such people must be identified, punished, and taught a strict lesson.

The ambulance has just arrived at the Elephant Hospital campus, and after everything Veer has endured, this moment feels deeply personal to us. The long journey, the anxious hours, the quiet prayers from all of you, they’ve all led to this.
As the doors of the ambulance opened, you could see the curiosity in his eyes. He paused for a second. The air was different. The ground felt new. Slowly, he stepped forward, leading with his trunk, sniffing, exploring, trying to understand where he was. There was hesitation, yes. But there was also courage.
Watching him take those first few steps into safety is something we won’t ever forget.
None of this would have been possible without you, every message, every share, every bit of support that carried him here.

On Tuesday night, 2/24/26, between 9:00 and 9:30 PM, Karma was abandoned at Shy Pond Park in Lake Jackson, Texas.
The person who abandoned Karma is described as a blonde woman driving a black car.
As Karma chased after her owner, a vehicle struck her. She was left injured and alone and tragically lost one of her eyes as a result of the impact.
