We're back folks!

We currently suspect this to be an issue with our hosting provider.

We're aware of issues people may be having accessing Hexbear. We are investigating, updates will be posted in this thread.

And we're up again.

Dealing with some performance issues. We're working on it but the site's going down for now.

Site is up and running. We're deploying some hotfixes as issues reveal themselves. If you're getting a redirect error, you need to delete the site's cookies. How you do this differs for each browser and is unfortunately more involved than CTRL+F5.

Twitter intern here. I'm about to log off so I won't get a chance to tweet when the site is back up. Hopefully they don't fire me for this... (I'll put a tweet up when I log back on tomorrow)

Reminder that in about 30 minutes Hexbear will go down and the migration process will begin. We're still anticipating around 12 hours of downtime.

Our long awaited move back to Lemmy is finally happening! We'll be down for a few hours this Saturday while our devs perform the migration. Any updates during the downtime will be posted on this account 🎉 hexbear.net/post/272295

it turns out that "water cooling a server" doesn't mean spraying it down with a hose. currently soaking hexbear in a dirty ushanka filled with rice. we'll be back when we're dry.

The site is currently down for unexpected infra maintenance. the abandoned Albanian bunker housing one of our servers collapsed shortly after an illegal turbo-folk festival was held overtop of it. please bear with us.
