@SopranoDavis Yeah I agree completely, it’s pointless playing a ‘10’ if they dont contribute anything going forward. I think away from home we have been crying out for a midfield 3 as we are so easy to play through. I’d happily sacrifice the 10 for an extra body in midfield/defence

@charlesb799 I don’t understand why we can’t play a 4-3-3 with a Paik, Doyle & Leonard/Iwata midfield. This obsession with a “number 10” (which Ducksch isn’t btw) is just hindering us on the pitch. At least putting Doyle Paik & Iwata as a midfield 3 gives us more legs and defensive cover

How #bcfc can instantly become more competitive without overhauling the squad and making the most of our current group of players. Blues are in awful form at the moment and any thoughts of going back to back looks like a pipe dream. Too many of our signings have not worked out.

@SopranoDavis Yeah unfortunately I don’t think Davies would implement this. Bright isn’t really a natural RB as he started off as a winger. Also I think Cashin has been good last few games! I’d give him a chance and see how it goes, Robbo is also good but both him and klarer are too slow

@charlesb799 Just read through the thread, not entirely sure I’d have Cashin anywhere near the starting 11, I agree RE Osayi Samuel though he needs to come good and maybe a 3/5 at the back would unlock his pace. But that ain’t happening under CD it would take a manager who plays that system

You want your best players playing in their best positions, and getting all of your current players to play in roles that are familiar to them. I don’t think a 3-4-3 is the answer long term, it could definitely make us more competitive for the rest of the season #bcfc #kro
