@PECOconnect PECO... I've called twice today, waited over an hour both times, and then both times the rep says they can't hear me and disconnect. Does your phone system work?
@SEPTA_SOCIAL I think it's important to realize that telling the passengers "you have to get off or we can't move the train" is suboptimal, because my motivation is not to help you leave without me.
@charlesrejonis Thanks for the heads up. SEPTA does try and have all the cars available for all of the trains, but there are times when cars are pulled from service for routine maintenance whether that be cleaning, checking of the A/C unit, etc. ^SH
@SEPTA_SOCIAL That makes some sense. However, when that happens, and a train has 2 instead of 4 cars, you inevitably leave passengers behind on the platform. Plus, you put your conductors out on a hostile island because they have to deal with the fallout.
@SEPTA_SOCIAL After thinking about this, I realize the conductors are dealing with a bad situation, and it's not their issue. The real question is, why does septa not have enough cars to handle routine equipment outages?
@mattbermanrocks@SEPTA Good evening Matt. Unfortunately the case for the PM commute today. It was scheduled to have 4, but equipment issues leading to it running 2 short. Apologies for the inconvenience .^SH
