Honestly, I get more engagement about PHP, the subject I tweet about, with the PHP Community Mastodon. So, that's where I'll be posting my microblogging content in the future.

👋 Bye Twitter, it was good while it lasted. Sorry you turned into shit.

@motherboard I wonder if we're gonna see a small spike in google searches for "turgid penis" from West Virginia because of this bill.

@tinkertim Right? It feels like we're on Day 6 and we're actually *checks notes* .... fuck, only starting Day 2.

She's right, gamers don't want to hear about feminism.
But, they _need_ to hear about it. The rampant misogyny in the gaming community is maddening. If you bring this stuff up you're just being political. It honestly disgusts me and has made me highly limit who I play with.

The problem with my Twitter is all the subjects I talk about all hate each other. Gamers don’t want to hear about feminism. Progressives don’t wanna hear about Porsche. Pinball people don’t want to hear about politics. And Porsche people don’t want to hear about queer politics.

Oops! I did again, @washingtonpost: I created a Twitter account pretending to be @SenMarkey (with his permission) and applied for Blue “verification.” And once again, Twitter took my $8, asked zero questions and gave the fake account a blue checkmark. wapo.st/3VHo2Qg

@mike_puterbaugh @GergelyOrosz I've generally only worked on small teams that did a good job at avoiding code overlap. We also didn't normally have freezes that lasted long enough to cause merge hell. And, the freeze was often on the release branch not main or a dev branch.
