I figured out technical analysis in 2023 Made profits for a while Then came the psychological part of it I became greedy No trading plan Funding whatever money came in Over trading It took me an additional year to even become consistently profitable and after One thing i never did was change my strategy because i knew it was never a strategy problem But a me problem I only studied more and tried to figure out ways to fix what i was lacking Which took me more than a year to fix Most people ask why some students are not profitable like their mentors Well the mentor have been trying to do the right thing the right way longer than the students have, If you think trading is a quick in and out career Please quit. The sooner you realize after getting the technicals right you have to devise a way to never allow your emotions destroy what you’ve worked so hard to attain.

As an SLK trader stop trying to learn everything at ones. Everything changed when I broke it down. I focused on direction first, then target, then entry. Now trading feels smoother. I’m not where I want to be yet but I’m making real progress. All thanks to @Kelvinking_

THE BIG QUESTION: What are your long term goals? I’ve seen people make millions of dollars and within a few years, go back to zero due to a lack of financial structure. I drove a small Lexus for nearly two years , while building a multi billion naira real estate portfolio, fully funded through trading, I was using the car to travel across states to inspect business projects , i didn't care about what people will say and When the profits started coming in, it was easy to spend Hundreds of millions on Vanity, it didn't happen over night. Before @Techriztm got his $100K+ car , he already got a massive duplex and other offline investments , he is settled for life no more Rent. Before @lex_consults spent 80M+ on a car , he already has massive investment going on offline. Before @princess_mmasi spent 50M+ on a car she is already putting her trading profit into something massive offline since 2 years ago (i am an early investor on one of her projects as well so i know) @VicktorJayden and @Fznation01 Most of their trading profits has gone into real estate worth hundreds of Millions and they don't even care about getting a car yet.( business minded) @iamtolufx just spent multi millions on two cars... you have no idea what he is doing offline, it's massive... My Jaw dropped when i saw @Akindamolafx latest collection ( i respect that guy's business mind, even copied some of his steps 2 years ago) @SDX_Trades is cooking another big building and you see @Kelvinking_ with over 4 houses already. There are lot of other guys i can't mention right now doing big things in the space , You see young guys and girls winning big and heavy, don't do things for online validation, think long term, where do you want to be in the next 10-20years.... THE BIG QUESTION: What are your long term goals, i have seen people make millions of Dollars and few years time they go back to zero due to Lack of financial structure. First thing you need to master as a trader is direction. If you can get direction right 7 out of 10 times, you’ve already solved a big part of the game. After that, you just need to accept one hard truth you’re not going to catch every move. Think about it like someone traveling from Lagos to Abuja by road. The person knows the right direction, knows the right park to go to in Lagos… but that alone doesn’t guarantee the journey will happen. They might get there and be told the last bus has already left. Or something might come up and no buses are moving that day. Same thing in the market. You can clearly see direction and still not get a trade. Sometimes direction is there, but no clean entry shows up. Sometimes the entry sets up, but price doesn’t tap in. That’s just part of the game. Not every DrD and H4 BO is meant to be traded. Some will play out without you, and some will never give you the confirmation you need. The moment you start forcing it or chasing price… that’s where problems begin. That’s how traders get punished.

Step 1 : get a mentor Step 2 : lock in with your mentor knowledge till you derive your own experience from it ..do it with few pair Step 3 : get a prop account (if you don’t have money bill your mentor for the prop 😂I’m joking) Step 4 : split your big goals in small steps Step 5 : don’t trade small prop account size for long your first job with your payout is to use high % of it to get big prop account size 100k /200k Step 6 : always have a prop account you can use it payout to fund your personal account and learn to scale up that account not flipping but compounding Step 7 : don’t always aim for big payouts at a go but always get a payout Step 8 : invest your payouts in real achievements Step 9 : you are a professional and profitable trader Ps : it beautiful if your prop account has diff purpose for it ..a prop account for saving for you car or house or business..allocate your prop accounts too different goals ..
