How would you change their mind?

@HolyCrepe1198 @SATXPolice Even if the killer expressly said “yes I hate the gays and expressly sought out to do this as a hate crime and had no other issue with these individuals” they’d still eventually drop the hate crime charges. Because who cares, right? Texas police are a joke.

SAPD Homicide is currently investigating the murder of Mr. Jonathan Joss. Despite online claims of this being a hate crime, currently the investigation has found no evidence to indicate that the Mr. Joss’s murder was related to his sexual orientation.

I thought being passive-aggressive and overtly mean to the spouse of a successful/beloved male celebrity was in the past, especially with the positivity in which people embraced Rosie, Rhys’s wife. Why is Rita different? Her fame? The pair being more private? Taika?
