The empowerment of peace demands a paradigm shift into dimensions of the psyche where we have the courage to meet the circulation of horror within our consciousness, beyond the division into right and wrong, victim and perpetrator. Only then can we take a space of wisdom - the deeper wisdom of trauma - beyond this giant, human, auto-immune, dualistic reaction of kill-or-be-killed. It might take centuries, and lifetimes, but this shift into the actual resonance and intelligence of peace is our destiny. #peace #meditation #HumanityFirst #nonduality #Trauma

It is a great suffering to feel hatred toward a human abstraction such as a group or nation, and an even greater torment to suffer the vanity of righteousness as well. It gnaws at the top of the gut, like an addiction, demanding release. It propels us away from what actually matters around us. We become impotent and numb at the basis of the body, unearthed, displaced, unheard, hungering for release - and then we blame that on the “other” as well. It's a hell-loop that feeds itself, impacting even our biochemistry and our physical wellbeing. That's why its better to dialogue with our demons than to block them. #hate #war #nondual #psychology

When passion awakens, we open a profound sense of purpose, fulfilment, individual manifestation, and evolutionary service to the whole. Passion is a path-breaker, resting on the wisdom that everything passes. Now is the time to open the nondual adventure. audible.com/pd/Nondual-Pas…

The primary areas of #trauma show up where the field of experience is split between mind, heart, and body. The split is a direct affect of the system's failed attempt to include the traumatic experience within the whole field of experience. Most of the time, beliefs take over and begin to dictate "realities" in the place where reality collapsed. This is why trauma therapy demands a holistic, nondual approach that moves beyond consensual norms.

Did you know? Because of collective and intergenerational sexual trauma, both women and men often dissociate the moment they begin physical lovemaking. This can shows up with fantasies during love making that are controlling and dictating what is actually happening in the body. This also disconnects from the body of the partner. It takes the inclusion of the heart and a willingness to take plenty of space and time to allow a re-entry into the unconditional naturalness of physical sensation. This naturalness asks for a movement beyond obligation, fear, and the pressure to perform. Many never come there. #sexuality #trauma #nondualtherapy #psychology

What is dissociation, really? First and foremost, it's a natural experience. It has a distinct energy, with an atmosphere of shock or being stunned. That energy transmits between people, meaning when you sit with someone dissociative, you might also be lifted into dissociation. That's really OK. It's called empathy. Can you trace the felt sense of dissociation in yourself? Trouble only starts where we freeze in it, and the pathways of consciousness in and out of the body close down out of the anticipation of suffering. When you can relax into a dissociative energy field, the healing pathway between off-body sanctuary and in-body sensation begin to re-open. When the practitioner reassociates, the client in turn has the possibility to arrive again in the body. When the practitioner pressures the client to "get back in the body", or pushes for medication to stop the dissociation, they are often re-enforcing the fear of embodiment.

When we realize that the connection between a word and an object is completely arbitrary, a gap opens up. For some, this is traumatic. For others, it is a freedom portal in the wall of consensual reality. The world of beliefs, opinions and thoughts subside to a much more essential dimension. #nonduality #freedom #psychology #nondualtherapy iamhere.life

If you truly loved the ones that are lost, so why do you now stop loving them? When your heart fills with hatred and revenge, notice that this is the suffering of love, and tend to that love. Let this love in you be free. Let the loved one in you be free. Let them show you how to be free, inside-out. #war #death #nondualtherapy #grief #loss

The suffering is here. Yes, grieve. But beyond thoughts of revenge, take some time to honor the dead. Connect with the ones that passed over, even in the horrors of war. At first you meet your own agony. But then, feel where they are. Let them become a living resource of peace beyond the senseless fight of it all. #nonduality #life #war #grief

There are three inner shifts to freedom - through mind heart and body. 1. Let it go (letting go of rigid beliefs, thought patterns, obstinate constructs of reality) 2. Let it be (allowing experience to be as it it is, unfiltered by judgement and agenda) 3. Be for real (awakening as the sense of reality, rather than the victim of an external reality. Feeling the existential "realness" of the perceiver.) Many get caught in the third step, cascading the psyche into activism, projection, and psychic fragmentation. #nonduality #awakening

Nondual awakening involves a "flippening". The reality we perceive out there, subsides in the direct experience that we are the reality that is sensing all phenomena. The love we seek out there, subsides in the experience that we are the love that is seeking. The peace we seek out there, subsides in the realization that we are the peace that is sensing the unfolding of the whole. When this inversion back to naturalness happens, we become free of projection, and gain the capacity to heal the areas of suffering, inside and outside ourselves. #nonduality #healing

The war against "normal" is an effect of trauma - where consensual reality has excluded the traumatic experience. The healing of trauma involves an awakening to the magnicence of the normal, with a penetration into potentiality of bliss in the common-place. This is where integration happens, resilience is gained, and freedom comes to life. #nondualtherapy #psychology #Trauma

Trauma has layers. 1. The natural state of trust prior to the traumatic event 2. The actual experience 3. Rejection of the actual experience as impossible to integrate with "normal" functioning (sense of horror, shock) 4. Social repetition of the denial of the original experience (sense of isolation, shame, despair) 5. Therapeutic attempts to again "get rid of" the actual experience. (sense of negation, annihilation, eternal wrong) 6. Perceptive blindsiding of the experience through psychic fragmentation (unexplained anxiety, depression, loneliness, patterns of negativity, addiction) Therapists enter the process at 6 and need to support the shedding of experience back to 1. At any stage, the attempt to "fix it" (get rid of the process) can reaffirm the traumatic state. The therapists own relatioship with suffering what feels unbearable is critical. The deepest need is that the therapist be at peace with suffering. For many, this is counterintuitive to the need for a fast fix to make pain go away. #trauma #nonduality #psychology
