I planted sunflowers in a fit of rage and grief the day of the Covenant shooting. This weekend, I noticed the first blooms of that chaotic seeding appeared and it sparked a lot of emotions. But they’re just so pretty I have to share.

Governor Bill Lee has signed a bill that abolishes the Community Oversight Boards in Nashville and Memphis.
The new law does allow Metro Council to create a new oversight committee, but they would lose their ability to conduct independent investigations.
