@shoutokuslash not finding every man attractive ≠ lesbian. also being feminist doesn’t equal lesbianism either, and it’s only misogyny to believe that having any attraction to men means one should be brainless and have no critiques, and lack self-respect and just accept anything from them.

and i love the writing style, idc. this was when YA was actually good!

but the writing makes excuses for it in a “that’s just how he is [positive],” way and i can’t stand it. but the magic is still phenom, that’s what got me attached to this series in the first place.
