Kindergarten through 2nd grade cheered on grades 3-6 today during an EOG parade as the upper grades tackle state end-of-grade testing this week.

Senior Kyleigh Lynn has been accepted to the four-year Fidelity Scholars Program. It will ensure she has a "full ride" to NC A&T State Univ. She plans to major in psychology and minor in Spanish and child development. Kyleigh's goal is to become a child psychologist. Congrats!

May 1st is a big celebration day for the Class of 2026—-1) the annual senior cap & gown walk-through (cheered on by K-11 students throughout campus) and 2) National College Decision Day!

Another double congrats! Varsity softball & baseball won Central Tar Heel Conference Tournament championships vs Clover Garden tonight, softball with a score of 6-2 & baseball 10-0. The baseball team is conference co-champ. Garrison Clark is the conference Pitcher of the Year.

End the work week with a musical flair as our middle and high school bands present a Friday evening concert.

Bravo to the 13 students selected for the Charlotte Metro Area Charter School Honor Band! Rehearsals began Friday afternoon. The experience finished with a concert on Saturday afternoon.

6th graders are offsetting practice EOG tests with hands-on activities. In science, NC Wildlife Game Warden Sgt. Claude Smith helped tie his work into their animal unit. In social studies they’ve finished projects to share in an ancient worlds museum. shorturl.at/8Wlg8
