you are making fun of. even if you do not like me or believe me when speaking about the abuse I lived through. just because you are upset does not mean you can use this to make jokes about DID/alters. if you read this & feel encouraged to make these jokes I don’t know what to say

also regardless of how you feel about me choosing to speak up about the abuse I endured, as well as others speaking up about their own experiences: if you use this as an opportunity to make fun of or jokes about alters/DID/childhood sexual abuse, remember the others out there…

please: seek out professionals who specialize in PTSD/dissociation. being able to understand/remember the abuse I endured as a child as well as later in life was only possible through therapy with alters & DID experts. you can & will be able to survive remembering your abuse.

if you believe you might have alters: healing from trauma is possible. things will be okay & what happened to you as a kid cannot keep hurting you. if you don’t understand that you’re hurt/how you’re hurt, you can hurt others. a great starting resource is did-research.org

@soupofmario I support you speaking about what you endured. I understand that these are ways my system & I traumatized you. You didn’t deserve any of it. I will continue to get the help I need from professionals. I hope you are able to heal from when I was in your life.

I do think there were countless ways I could have handled speaking the truth & opening up about the abuse I endured so I’d like to share this resource in case anybody else might need it.

It is always possible to acknowledge that your actions have led to someone’s perception of you or even of themselves. Be aware of what you say and do to others, it affects them. You don’t exist in a vacuum.

Feelings don’t exist in a vacuum. Usually if someone feels a certain way, it’s because something or someone made them feel that way. Actions have consequences. Actions have an affect on others. Intent doesn’t always define the end result.

@jake_checkoway I completely understand the point you’re making & I completely agree you & you alone mixed Origami Angel’s releases. I could have worried my frustrations over this entirely differently

sending so much love to the people i know who had liam as such big parts of their lives to the people reading thing: please remember that people care about you & love you you all have been & are in my thoughts often - alexis et cetera

not to mention a wonderful example of the incredible music they were a huge park in making

i’ll say this again when i’m able to say more but: please watch the music video for scooter if you’re able to cried a lot while rewatching it the couple times i’ve been able to yesterday & today but a perfect representation of the hilarity that could ensue when with them

there’s a lot more i’d like to say about how they changed my life but i’ll say it when i’m ready. liam you were loved by so many & continue to be loved & always will be

every single musician i ever knew that saw liam perform live (which was many, many musicians mind you) was enthralled by liam’s ability to simultaneously entertain a crowd while showcasing some of the most impressive musical abilities for any person to somehow possess

i don’t really know what words to say yet. i’ve been attempting to but i hope in the future i’m able to share some of these memories of & with them that have always meant a lot to me in the meantime i’ll say this: liam had such a huge impact on my life & the lives of many others
