One year ago today I set off to cycle to every Children’s Hospice in the UK #ChildrensHospiceWeek I learnt what the human body & mind can do when it’s pushed to its limits, a constant reminder of what our children & families face every day and why children’s hospices are VITAL

I'm not sure who was more excited to meet you - Nabil and I or the girls...but one thing is for sure, you are definitely a family favourite! Glad you got the brownie, just a little something from us to say thank you for the joy you bring. Neve is such a part of it all ❤️

Today marks 3 years since you departed this world Ruby. 1095 days since we heard your voice. 26,280 hours without hearing your laugh. 1,576,800 minutes since we last hugged. We’d give anything for another hug. You are so desperately missed & so deeply loved by so many ❤️💔

Neve and her family challenged the perception of palliative care by embracing it at the earliest possible opportunity. A term most people think of as sadness she showed is actually about the importance of finding the joy.

It is with sadness I share that Neve, who represented week 1 of CHAT UK,died peacefully on the 30th April. Neve taught us the importance of love, community, compassion & connection. Hold those values dear & spread them wide, because in life & death they truly make a difference.
