@montie Bullying. Pure and simple bullying. It’s Hawley who’s grandstanding and trying to make a name for himself here. The fact you can’t see that is staggering.

Devastating. Fauci's reputation deservedly in complete shreds.
Overton@overton_news

The final 90 seconds of Senator Josh Hawley’s questioning of Anthony Fauci is pure cinema. Hawley ended the exchange by cutting Fauci down to the bone with everything he had exposed. The last two lines hit the hardest. Fauci knew Hawley had him dead to rights, and the look on his face was priceless. HAWLEY: “Yeah, well, silence is admission.” “And here’s the real thing…at the end of the day, it wasn’t just about the money, really, was it?” “It was really about a power trip. I mean, through all of this, you wanted to be the most famous scientist in the world. You were so focused on getting every award and every drop of cash that you could, all because you wanted to be on TV.” “You wanted to be the sun god of science.” “You wanted to be the guy who was in charge of it all.” “You wanted to lambaste Trump.” “You wanted to make sure that nobody else stole your spotlight.” “YOU wanted to be the GUY.” “You had time to sit for InStyle magazine. Here’s what you were doing with your time. You could sit for InStyle magazine, but you can’t answer questions for the American people!” “You could sit for InStyle magazine, but you’re here taking the Fifth!” “You could sit for InStyle magazine and get a MILLION BUCKS in cash awards, but now the cat’s got your tongue.” “I bet he does!” “I’ll tell you what, here’s my conclusion from all of this.” “This was really all about you the whole time. Somewhere along the way, you lost your way.” “You may have been a good public servant at one time, I don’t know.” “What I can tell you from reading your emails now, from looking at what you did, how you used your employees, somewhere along the line, it became all about you.” “You became a narcissist and a megalomaniac and a liar, and you’ve lied to the American people, and you’ve lied to this body!” “And you’ve disgraced your profession by doing it.” “You called yourself the most famous scientist in the world… you’ve done more to harm science than anybody in my lifetime.” “And I hope you’ll go home and write that in your diary.” @HawleyMO

If Andy Burnham is serious about putting politics aside to solve Britain’s biggest problems, it’s remarkable that he’s chosen to ignore Reform. He is conspiring behind closed doors with the failed political establishment to foist further tax rises on the country. The fact Ed Davey and Kemi Badenoch are going along with this tells you all you need to know. This is the uniparty in action.

Who will do this when he is not? There's a strength in him that's more than his genius and heart for humanity. Life made him strong very young. He understands a truth about the significance of Western Civilization that many, if not most, don't have the faintest clue about. We should all really take this question to heart.

I don't support an ideology who advocate stoning wife beating female genital mutilation beheading opponents marrying 9 year olds brain washing children sacrificing their wives and kids as suicide bombers killing women for not covering their hair relegating women as second class citizens using women and children as human shields kidnapping and raping prisoners parading dead female bodies who'd been raped in public to the jeers of citizens Murdering gays and lesbians Using international funds to finance a war while citizens starve Build tunnels with weapons under hospitals Rape female victims as punishment ..... but that's just me.

Oh, I disagree. WW11 is a perfect example of just exactly what Britian would do in retaliation and it would be worse than 690,000 based on their history of what they're capable of doing in other countries. Do you want the Jews in Israel to roll over and say f**k me from behind AS WELL Hamas murder, kidnap, rape and torture them? Hamas started this. Israel has every right to defend themselves. And I will call you antisemitic because your time line doesn't condemn what Russia is doing to the Ukranians, which has been worse than the war Hamas started. 175,000 Ukrainians killed by Russia according to international estimations yet not a peep, and ironically that war affects you living in the UK far more than a war in the Middle East. At least be honest about how you feel about the Jews.

@Africa_Dabra @HatsOffff Been stalking gramps? Bit creepy. I’ve not spoken about Ukraine because I’ve never come across anyone supporting Russia. I’ve been very clear that my beef is with Isreal & not the Jews but I dared to suggest that Isreal maybe doing something immoral & suddenly I’m antisemitic 🤷🏼‍♂️

@Africa_Dabra @HatsOffff ‘Aw come on ! You cannot separate Israel from Jews’. So now you’re saying no can criticise Isreal without being called antisemitic? Isreal has killed between 6-10% of the Gaza population. I very much doubt the UK would kill 690,000 French in retaliation.

Aw come on ! You cannot separate Israel from Jews. If France sneaked across the channel and slaughtered, burned alive, raped and mutilated 8,400 Brits in a few hours, including grandparents, infants, the handicapped and parents... the UK would have every right to defend itself and retaliate like they did with the German invasions during WW11. Virtual signaling has become laughable and people are sick with wokeness. Both are losing their appeal. *figures based on 0.011% of Uk's population- the same % of Jews slaughtered by the Gazans on Oct 7th.

@Tau157472 @HatsOffff Casually dismisses the views of 157 countries. Which is it? ‘Gazans chose Hamas’ or ‘Palestinians detest him and his Fatah party’ Truth is you don’t want Palestine to exist and you’ve found your excuse to annihilate it for good.

@chazball64 @HatsOffff Meaningless nonsense. The President of your imaginary state, Abbas, elected in 2005 is in the 21st year of his 4 year term. Nepotism, cronyism and corruption are rife, he and his sons are multi millionaires. Palestinians detest him and his Fatah party, hence no elections.

@chazball64 @HatsOffff Gaza isn’t a country, although it was self-governing from 2005, so a de facto state governed by Palestinians for almost 20 years. In the last election, Gazans chose Hamas and Hamas chose war. There’s no way the IDF could pluck the terrorists out and capture them, unrealistic

@Tau157472 @HatsOffff They had a choice. Oct 7 was a heinous act and demanded a response. The choice was either catch & punish the guilty or annihilate an entire country. A responsible civilised nation would have chosen the former. Isreal chose the latter.

@chazball64 @HatsOffff Casualty figures are not a good metric for who won or lost a war. Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad etc invading Israel on Oct 7 and slaughtering men, women and children led to war and the invasion of Gaza. Israel had no choice.

@DPMcBride Your whataboutery doesn’t excuse 900 crossings in Burnham’s first week. Labour promised to stop the boats and smash the gangs. Instead they’re arriving in supersize dinghies from day one. Past numbers don’t absolve current Labour failure. Weather lottery not policy.

Strangely, this story doesn't mention the 1,077 small boat arrivals in Liz Truss's first week as PM, or the 1,800 in Rishi Sunak's. It also says that there were only 35 arrivals in Boris Johnson's first week as PM in 2019, but omits to mention the 2,532 in his final week in 2022.
