@DE125DE125DE125 As someone who's experimented a LOT with parity breaks in maps, almost anyone who plays this game at a non-casual level will say that parity is essential. Good acc maps and challenge is basically the only space for it. Now if only good acc maps wouldn't break ranked lol
With Ranked, what are some wishlist things you would love to see, but you know are just not possible? Bonus points if you mention why you think it can’t happen.
@AlpalVR Yeah, this is a tough one isnt it? I do try to find these players, but it’s a self-defeating cycle. IF a player is good enough to be a top player, IT IS BECAUSE they spend most of their time getting good, and therefore don’t have enough time left for QAT. Catch 22 :c
@moddingpink Bombs are much nicer in one-saber since the other hand isn’t a problem any more. Triangles also work nicely, huge towers work, claps aren’t a risk, it’s awesome. Only downside is less room for rhythm choices
@checkthepan It's my go to mapping style now, I have so much more fun mapping one saber than I do standard since the meta is weirdly different and not yet standardised.
You can get away with a lot more funk in one saber and I adore it
@moddingpink I’d absolutely love to see both of those things too. It’s a long term wishlist for me. I never expected one-saber to be as interesting to play as it is!
