#MichaelPelícula Estamos frente a una cinta Hallmark que nos muestra a un dulce, talentoso y mega bondadoso Michael Jackson en sus primeros años de carrera. Los productores de esta cinta entendieron algo: tienen los derechos de las canciones, ergo, prefieren usarlas antes de contar una historia. Y creo que esa fue una gran decisión: shut up and dance! Quién busque escándalo, que se espere a la segunda parte. Quién busque historia, que acuda a un libro. Quién busque recordar una época y una buena recreación de los bailes y escuchar en bocinotas de cine los grandes éxitos de Michael, éste es su lugar. El sábado mi crítica in extenso en @Univ_Opinion y mañana un video (porque ya entendí que leer está en desuso), en el Tik Tok de @Filmsteria.

I know this topic is old now, but I still wanted to say something. I’m from the Middle East and I share the exact same cultural background as that girl. Even so, I don’t like the yodeling either. What I’m sick of is the double standard: people from Middle East who move to the West and trash every single thing about American culture without hesitation. But the moment an American (or anyone) says they don’t like one thing from our culture, they immediately panic, scream “Islamophobe,” and try to cancel them. It’s ridiculous, especially since that same noise is made by people of other religions in the Middle East too. completely irrelevant. Sabrina Carpenter, you didn’t have to apologize. You did nothing wrong. Period.
