@cheehuat

I'm curious. And easily amused. I worry that my tweets might be inappropriate.

Just because my mom is 95 and seemingly okay, doctors always dismiss my concerns like "what do you expect?". I wish they would hear me out and try harder. Don't blame me for #googling then. #geriatrics #dementia

I just realized I like #donuts too much. Those traditional ones that are sugar coated. When I saw the promo by #AmazonPrime for #TheRingsOfPower I immediately thought of donuts 😂

Is it possible to #laugh and feel #sad at the same time? I showed my 95-year-old mom who has #dementia these laundry capsules. She took one out, looked at it, and tried to put it in her mouth 🤣😭 @ Compassvale Link instagram.com/p/Cj4y-S6OIXy/…

@jasinfox Only if the interviewer knows what they're doing. I had an interview where the product manager randomly pointed to some copy on their app and asked me to shorten it on the spot🤦. She said, "We work at a fast pace!"

@claracloggins Mine's "visual". A client or stakeholder would say, "I can only decide after you show me the Hi-Fi wireframes because I'm a visual person." RUBBISH! If you're a visual person, you should be able to visualise what the designer sketches on a napkin!

Ahhhh. I feel so much better now. I've given you my language and content bugbears. You might as well add to them. What're yours?

OK, ok, ok... I'll be the first to admit it. Content design is a profession for pedants. Hi. My name's Clare and I'm a pedant (@RichProwse + @NiaRCampbell know this only too well). But. I might argue that some of it is inherited pedantry. Here's why. /1

Visiting the #Metaverse reminds me of educational CD-ROMs like #Microsoft Encarta. You could say my age is showing. Or that my present age is way ahead of the visuals on the Metaverse and a hint of their #future 😇

@scottkubie @benbn I think that it's the mindset. Like your book's title, we should think as a designer first, as a UX practitioner. I've noticed many writers jumping into finding the perfect word when given a task. Instead of considering what the problem is that we're solving.
