After falsely accusing her boyfriend, Antoinette admitted she offered sex with her daughter to pay back money, not to kill her. Shortly after the recovery of Shaniya Davis’ body, Mario Andretti McNeill was arrested and accused of her murder. Investigations revealed that Shaniya had been both raped and strangled. Antoinette was later sentenced to at least 17 1/2 years in prison. McNeill was sentenced to death.
