Jesus deliberately delayed 2 days and arrived on the fourth day because in Jewish culture then people were only declared dead three days after death to rule out instances like coma, sleep etc. The reason he himself chose to rise on the third day.

I now pay serious attention to readings in Church and I am surprised at some findings. So Jesus deliberately delayed for 2 days after hearing of Lazarus Illness before showing up to do Odeshi and resurrect him? Jesus get doings sha. God may delay in showing up in your situation Just to show his might and Power in the last minute. @frmarcellinus @FrUgochukwu what is your take?

I turn down so many speaking opportunities because, at some point, you realise that you are unwittingly part of a very, very soft grift. "People need to learn from you" Learn what?

One of the many sins of colonialism was simplifying a rather complex network of trade and migration in West Africa. We assume our forefathers were primitive people that existed in isolation and were neither curious nor engaged beyond their communities until colonialism came. Lmao

@KaiUzama @xxbisolaxx Lol funny you, that is exactly why the lines are blurred it doesn’t mean there are no lines, we have a history before Nigeria, we all have our way of dressing, they were tribes so close by that we didn’t interact with until the colonialist came. Tie your gele but it’s Yorubas.

@OlakitanFagbuyi @KaiUzama lost me at “we didn't interact before colonialists came” cos that's untrue. One of the sins of colonialism was erasing a complex network of trade in West Africa. ‘Yoruba”, “Igbo”were precolonial markers mostly based on language not centralised political groups aka tribes.

Nigerians finding out two tribes from the same country, with people who look just like each other, happen to have similarities in their cultural attire and scarf. Omg shockingggg

This is the best and most apt tweet on the matter. we have no idea how much proximity, similarities etc our forefathers had to one another. Especially with European trade happening simultaneously. This is just Nigeria o, we never even enter West Africa or Africa as a whole.

@cheeka_tcd This is definitely not something you see every day. It takes a different kind of courage to have gotten laid off and turn to what you've been putting off. That's pretty cool. What a conversation starter😭😭 I'm glad you got to do this. Cheers dear to more summits.🫶🏾

2 years and 4 months ago I got laid off and I begun the one the thing I loved, African exploration. Left Nigeria for the first time Dec 2023. 7 countries later, on Mar 8 2026, I became 1 in 0.005% to summit the tallest free standing mountain on earth. Mt Kilimanjaro. God did😭

@Efyakimora Thank you! I wish you an awesome summit. I used Monkey Adventures because they are African-owned. Brighton was my lead guide, an awesome awesome human.
