I sometimes feel as though sharing parts of myself could potentially ruin a friendship based on the response of the woman. Why does the mood change when I show my love for something, and why can't it be explored when I have a unique experience instead of outshined, like how I do.

Girlhood shouldn't be siphoned by your friends sharing in the same interests or hobbies as you. If anything, true womanhood should be enhanced by the ability to relate to each other and create together.
