PAWS IN AND PLS HELP. Cheese just finished her antibiotics Thursday. Today she peed the bed and has blood in her urine. I have an emergency vet appointment schedule online through Vetster, but I worry I will have to take her to in person vet in the morning. I can't afford it 1/?

@FurFamilyCats @pickleisicky Not yet! The earliest I could get an in person appointment is Monday morning at 8 AM. I love my vet team though and I'm positive they'll do what's best for my stinky baby

@cheesarbean @pickleisicky Have they done that already? They can also do ultrasounds whilst the cats awake, if they think necessary. They just shave a bit of fur and wheel a machine into the room and do it there and then 🙂

@FurFamilyCats @pickleisicky It worked while she was on it. But when she came off is when the bloody urine started. Hence the possibility of crystals. Hence the in person vet visit. Lots of Hence.

@cheesarbean @pickleisicky I googled Clavamox, it’s the same thing. That’s strange that it hasn’t worked 😰

@cheesarbean @pickleisicky I’m 99.99% convinced she has cystitis. I can’t recommend Synulox enough if that’s the case, it’s an excellent medication. If she is unable to wee at any point it’s an immediate emergency. I hope all goes well 🤞🏻

3/? The vet online did say this was not a medical emergency, and it's most likely crystals, which a prescription food can fix! But I still have to take her to the in person vet for a urinary test, which between that, the RX food, and the exam will run me close to $200. PLS HELP!

@FurFamilyCats @pickleisicky 14 day regimen of Clavamox and did well on it, but it wasn't treating the source of the issue it seems. We'll see what the vet says on Monday. Other than her slightly bloody pee, she's acting normal and eating and playing and overall being my stinky orange brat that I love.

@cheesarbean @pickleisicky If she has blood in her wee she will need anti biotics. Synulox if I remember right. I think the charge was about £30 max for those. She will have cystitis. My cat has had it, it can’t be left. Add extra water to her food, but she does need to see a vet asap.

I've been informed he was coming out of anesthesia and still pretty asleep but he heard the crinkle of someone else's churu and sprung awake and went insane until they gave him some so I think he's feeling alright

Dweeb is out of surgery! 😅 They were able to get plates on both sides of his jaw! It was a very long and intricate surgery, his blood pressure got a little dicey during it so they're keeping him overnight to monitor. I get to pick him up in the morning 🥹
