NFTs this time around will go much higher
In 2021 the main problem was dilution of attention (there was a new mint every day) but we also dealt with obscene royalties and prohibitively expensive entry prices on prime collections, all of these issues are now solved
We have only three S-tier collections with aged distributions that made it - Punks, Apes and Penguins, the majority of money will flow into these proven winners, the moat is their survival and y'all know I don't even like Penguins cause of their support of Solana but I'm being unbiased. For a new mint to compete the collectiom has to keep attention as long as these have (which will take 5 years!) this effectively ends the dilution issue that accelerated the downfall of NFTs
New mints will fail in 2026 (KOLs will fight me on this cause that's how they get paid) but now too many flippers are paying attention and they'll be able to grab supply cheaply and forever hold back floor prices of these new collections after whatever inital crime pumps they muster
NFTs that have survived this half-decade long double armageddon + triple nuclear winter total market heat death now have extremely strengthened distributions and at this point are truely rare. There is no way to speed run the kind of distributions they now wield in this brave new world
The most hated rally will not be hated by just CT but the entire world

If you’re still in NFTs, read this twice. 🚨
• Aug 9, 2021: $1.6B Market Cap (The start of the mania)
• March 31, 2026: $1.4B Market Cap (The point of maximum pain)
We are officially at the 2021 floor. We didn't just hit a support level we hit the bedrock.
Everyone is districted by the "NFTs are dead narrative," but they’re ignoring the most obvious signal in the market: The Full Retrace.
The data shows we just hit a total reset.
This is the NFT bottom.

Let me tell you a little secret about NFT holders
Most of us won’t sell
Not until it gets to life-changing money (again)
Or not until we actually need to sell
So why are we celebrating little pumps?
Of course, we’re happy to see whatever we hodl so dearly goes up in value
It’s human nature. This is why card collectors are happy that their pokemon cards go up in value right now
The same can be said about any other serious group of collectors in the world
As collectors, we want whatever we collect and deem valuable to us to be valuable to others too. We don’t want them to see that we’re collecting or holding on to junk
So yes, forgive us. NFTs going up feels nice for most of us here and if they keep going up, the timeline is about to feel insufferable

Farming incentives are gone (first Blur, then Opensea).
All major NFT projects have already launched their tokens.
Multichain expansion is dead.
Now we'll see whether people are actually interested in collecting NFTs as collectibles and memberships.
Not just as farming or airdrop speculation vehicles, which has been the case over the past few years.
Most net buyers were either bidding on NFTs for marketplace points or buying in anticipation of liquidity events (Pengu, Anime, Dood, Birb).
This group is now no longer with us

Good to see NFTs back on the timeline. Even four years after their peak, they remain culturally relevant with strong communities. Few metas can say that about themselves

Anthropic accidentally leaked their entire source code yesterday. What happened next is one of the most insane stories in tech history.
> Anthropic pushed a software update for Claude Code at 4AM.
> A debugging file was accidentally bundled inside it.
> That file contained 512,000 lines of their proprietary source code.
> A researcher named Chaofan Shou spotted it within minutes and posted the download link on X.
> 21 million people have seen the thread.
> The entire codebase was downloaded, copied and mirrored across GitHub before Anthropic's team had even woken up.
> Anthropic pulled the package and started firing DMCA takedowns at every repo hosting it.
> That's when a Korean developer named Sigrid Jin woke up at 4AM to his phone blowing up.
> He is the most active Claude Code user in the world with the Wall Street Journal reporting he personally used 25 billion tokens last year.
> His girlfriend was worried he'd get sued just for having the code on his machine.
> So he did what any engineer would do.
> He rewrote the entire thing in Python from scratch before sunrise.
> Called it claw-code and Pushed it to GitHub.
> A Python rewrite is a new creative work. DMCA can't touch it.
> The repo hit 30,000 stars faster than any repository in GitHub history.
> He wasn't satisfied. He started rewriting it again in Rust.
> It now has 49,000 stars and 56,000 forks.
> Someone mirrored the original to a decentralised platform with one message, "will never be taken down."
> The code is now permanent. Anthropic cannot get it back.
Anthropic built a system called Undercover Mode specifically to stop Claude from leaking internal secrets. Then they leaked their own source code themselves. You cannot make this up.
