@WhitemoreC You seen the evidence against Tonda, guys a prick and you're even worse for sticking up for him. Bielsa was totally different, he took the punishment and paid the fine himself.
English

our own supporters are contributing to the club's downfall here if we are not careful, take a long look at yourselves. Beilsa was a genius of the back of spygate 1.0 and took Leeds up the following season. There fans and club protected him and developed seige mentality #saintsfc

Hurt ? What the fuck have you guys been through? The only fans that know about hurt are Leeds, Luton, Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, I could add more

@markwb_88 I think Southampton influenced this the most by doing it in the first place. Southampton just need to accept responsibility, apologise to the people that need apologies and move on and stop blaming others.
English

The media has influenced this massively. The club deserves some credit, going 21 games unbeaten. That’s not luck. The best thing for the club, us fans is to stick together and go again next season. A mass exit is not good for the club or us fans. #saintsfc

🚨 Another classy response released.
Say what you will, at least all of these statements feel 100% genuine and I completely believe that the players were unaware of the scheming.
THB has been absolutely outstanding this season, and a rock in our defence.
I don’t begrudge him a move at ALL in the summer and wish him all the best for the future!

2 days on from Sunday and im still walking along singing
‘Leeds are falling apart again!’
As it stands I can’t see myself stopping anytime soon either ❤️🤍 #saintfc

@Saintsfire @SouthamptonFC Out of interest, what would the punishment been if you hadn't cheated?
English

Out of interest, what would the punishment be for @SouthamptonFC if we had finished mid table and got found out?
#Saintsfc
English

@dkaustin87 @henrywinter So ask the general public and you'll see most think the punishment was adequate, some question whether Boro should be put into the final, but the EFL need their big money game.
English

Disappointing to see the glee @henrywinter has shown watching #saintsfc go through what they’ve gone through over the past few days, especially when most of the football community agreed that the punishment was disproportionate. Part of the old boys club I guess.
English

@saintspins That 200mill wasn't actually yours. Did you even get a fine? I thought it was just kicked out of the final and a 4pt deduction?
English

@TheLeeleemu @ReelHammerz Our team is certainly looking very thin...
English

@ReelHammerz We arent going to risk Struijk, Bogle, Okafor or Gundmundsson especially with latter two heading to World Cup. Stach and Gruev are injured and doubt Tanaka/Aaronson will want to risk injury before World Cup. On paper, best time to play us. We have Dan James at RWB ffs 😂
English

@AshleyHerbert04 @pistol1603 @patcorraine @SouthamptonFC @lufcstats Every professional club have advisors, they would've specifically told the owners, manager and coaches that this was against the rules. The owners are upset they got found out and that they've not got to suffer the consequences.
English

@chefpepperjack @pistol1603 @patcorraine @SouthamptonFC @lufcstats This is a key point. Eckert said he thought this was ok as its not a problem on the continent. Someone at the club should have advised him of the ruling. I dont doubt the owners were oblivious as they seem genuinely upset but surely someone would've known this was not right.
English

@pistol1603 @DanielH45737382 @SouthamptonFC @lufcstats The thing is no one will ever know tho, they did what they did to get the advantage on Middlesbrough. Thats the thing that matters.
English

@DanielH45737382 @SouthamptonFC @lufcstats I don’t believe it made any difference to the 2 play off games. Boro had 210 minutes to beat them and they didn’t. Big fine, points deduction and perhaps publishing punishment options for future breaches so teams know the consequences in future.
English

@pistol1603 @patcorraine @SouthamptonFC @lufcstats Tbh dude, the club have said they did this with multiple clubs. We did it with one. Bielsa didn't know that he did wrong as there was no rule in place. Southampton knew there was a rule in place and still did it.
English

@patcorraine @SouthamptonFC @lufcstats And I get this. I just think the increase in severity is far too harsh is all. We all lauded Bielsa and laughed at his press conference when he admitted it all and said it made no difference. Can’t then claim they’ve cheated and call it a disgrace. Makes us hypocrites.
English

@matteohib94 @ConnorMOT92 I think if they do get reinstated the efl will put in the rules what exact punishment will be for future offences.
English

@ConnorMOT92 I bet they get reinstated. But that’s just sets a dangerous precedent going forward where teams will do it and then say ‘well Southampton broke the rule and got away with it’
English

Southampton trying to compare what they’ve done to what Leeds did in 2019 is absolutely embarrassing especially when we didn’t break any rules at the time. Southampton deserve everything they get it’s simple as that
#LUFC
English

@ConnorMOT92 I thinks its hilarious, you had that wanker Harwood-Bellis taking the piss out of Ayling, then doing the goggles hand gesture. The fans trying to somehow take the high ground and say that Middlesbrough were the bad ones. Hopefully the punishment doesn't get overturned.
