Not sure what people were expecting. It was always going to be Drury & Stead. We are a mid table, league one club whose track record with managers over the last 3 years has been shocking. We have zero pull now. Our reputation within the game is shot and needs rebuilding #htafc

If it’s Drury. Fine. But he has to have the whole season regardless of how it’s going. No more chopping & changing. Commit to something, recruit accordingly, give it time to marinade and see it through. Stop chasing instinct success as it very rarely happens. #htafc

I’m not sure how you can disallow the West Ham goal without even looking at the two fouls Arsenal made before anyone touched the GK. Surely the correct call would be if you disallow the goal, you give the pen? Those are the inconsistencies that drive people mad with VAR.

Avoid. It’ll be another Castledine scenario and hurt us long term. He’ll be phenomenal for 5 months and then be recalled in Jan to either be used by them, or sent to the championship. You can’t replace quality like that #htafc

Sign players that align with your club. Genuinely doesn’t matter if they’ve had one good season or one bad season, if they align with your beliefs, on and off the pitch & you believe you can maximise their strengths and restrict their weaknesses, then it makes sense. It’s not by some miracle that underperforming players then go to do well at clubs that align with them, or high performing players struggle at clubs after that don’t maximise them, environment and how you platform them is everything.

I’m at the point where you have to admire Town now. Another key summer and another rookie/rookies given the reigns of reports are true. I don’t understand the decision making. It’s another recipe for disaster, but I guess it’s becoming the norm now. #htafc

@NotFifthGear Because he’s threatened to leave the sport and they are petrified of upsetting him. That’s why the pit lane incident was left until after the race. Do you think they would’ve punished him if it meant he lost positions? Quite convenient his penalty was essentially worthless.

The sun has set on another disappointing season. 46 games don’t lie. However, I don’t think it’s a total rebuild job. Just need 2/3 key players to knit it together and stability in the dugout. Zero chance of getting him, but go & get Cam Humphreys permanently. Class above #htafc
