Update on this. Chelsea currently planning for Todd Boehly to stay on as sporting director in January. Plenty of candidates discussed but #CFC still in no rush to appoint unless they find right name. Boehly enjoying the role and other appointments now allow Chelsea to take time.

Although Chelsea are holding talks with a number of candidates now for the sporting director role, told Todd Boehly is "very comfortable" staying as interim sporting director for as long as it takes. There is a chance he assumes the role into January. It's one option discussed.
