@TheNorskaPaul Indeed the Gait Inn claim they invented it. Francis claims his recipe is very different and his became world famous. It’s now on almost every Restaurant menu. I have yet to find the Gait’s recipe so I cannot compare

For supper I made a pot roast type thingy with lambs liver & smoked bacon in red wine, smoked garlic, carrot, onion, which I had with little buttered baked potatoes. For dessert; a portion of apple galette with Madagascan vanilla ice-cream.😊😋
