it’s not even really the illness itself it’s all the chemotherapy and radiation and drugs and treatments that have honestly, in many ways, ruined my body in equal measure or worse than male puberty. i hate it. god finds new ways to rob me of agency every day. i just want to be me

like if tomorrow i cured all my dysphoria i’d still have these added hurdles carried over from all the horrible, irreversible things chronic illness did to my body that only i can understand. it’s like i went through a second male puberty. it sucks. and people think it’s gross.

RANT🧟‍♀️ something that makes me so sad is that so much of my experience with chronic illness has bled into my dysphoria and created such an awful, tailor made hell for me that no one can relate to because my disease was so impossibly rare especially in my sex/age group.

@Cryptid_Corvus same!! and i get what you mean but as someone who’s very shy at concerts/parties etc it can be really fun going alone and tbh sometimes it’s more fun because you feel free to meet new people and just kinda be yourself. at the last show i saw her at i met umru! so def recommend

@chemodoll Yessss shes the reason why ive been going to concerts lately, i saw her when she opened for Danny brown and recently during the Galleria tour!!! Its funny I was about to she her a third time as well at hard summer, but im to afraid of going to a music festival by myself

@citrusgirlpaige i feel the same way. i get really disgusted now when i eat meat products especially if they’re not home cooked, and even my appetite for that has greatly declined. it just feels like i’m eating roadkill or something.

idk if it’s the hormones or just the whole getting older thing but my desire to consume dead animals has significantly diminished in the last several years. Not even on some ethics shit it just doesn’t taste good,, I have to be way pickier about it
