@arpitdm @cheqit_ Thanks for this suggestion. Unfortunately I saw it too late to act on it right away, and now I seem to have gotten by without a UPI — my credit card is working fine. So maybe next time! I wish they had an AIRPORT presence, instead of having to go to one distant spot in each city.

For those who wondering about getting UPI at BLR airport: - one agent said they don't do any such thing - second said to go to int'l banks in the city - another said "yes, we do it, but our servers are down" [not clear how long] So much for the post-G20 "innovation". #India24
