(Lonnnnngggg sighhhhhhhhhhhh) Okay I’m on Threads. callcherie. And Post. And Notes. And probably Mastadon but I can’t remember how to log on there. And I’m on the waiting list of that other one. I’ll die if I have to check them all so let’s get our crap together and pick one.
@IGoBySteve@planetJoseph Yes I realized that could happen. Was trying to be frugal with characters and thought I could be understood with context clues from the earlier tweets but I should have spelled it out. I had the space. 🙂
@planetJoseph@cheriecall@EliMcCann I read this in my notifs and spent like 3 minutes trying to figure out what Mark vs Mork had to do with San Francisco. Turns out SF = Spanish Fork
@planetJoseph@EliMcCann@IGoBySteve I live in SF but didn’t grow up here. My friend, Mark grew up here, though, and he says he is not entirely sure that his name isn’t actually Mork.
@EliMcCann@IGoBySteve Al my aunties and uncles from Spanish fark like to say a phrase to showcase their accent:
Lord, Dorothy that’s a gorgeous orange formal, with an orchid corsage.
Been addicted to Twitter for years. I knew I’d be one of the last rats off the ship. It’s finally unusable. The quartet is playing “Nearer My God to Thee.” Time for Post, or to explore Notes a bit or get on the Bluesky waiting list. Hopefully I’ll see you in whatever sticks.
@BenjaminEPark *neighbors’. And I forgot to include all the the Don’t Tread on Me and Cop flags. And a lot of really weird American flags with much fewer stars.
@BenjaminEPark Does she also write articles about the “F$&@ YOUR FEELINGS, LET’S GO BRANDON, NO MORE BULLS&$T, MAGA!!!!!!!, and confederate flags that fly from my neighbor’s homes and pickup trucks all year long? No? How about the Payson family with a ten foot portrait of Trump in the yard?
Any attempts within the LDS community to be more "loving" of LGBTQ individuals, no matter how sincere, will be in vain as long as prominent voices of that community continue to spout vile fear-mongering bigotry that posits queerness as *against* "American" values.
@EliMcCann Mom drank Coke but Dad thought she was sinful and the rest of us were afraid to drink them till we got older. I think my dad still avoids it.
