louis’ modern arc is definitely my favourite overall and i’m very curious to see how his grief will be portrayed now. i never bought the “he’s over claudia’s death” narrative but grief has different faces, so now he’s not sitting miserably in dubai. and i’m very excited

i love louis’ adaptational choices so much and it’s perfectly fitting of a new setting & timeline, but it is so important - & clearly the writers agree - that grief remains a core of louis’ character. iwtv was born out of it, and louis was anne’s implicit fictionalisation of it
