Successfully completed the driving licence renewal process with help from many. Though the whole thing was online and the website kept reminding me that there was no need to visit the office in person things weren't falling in place. But after many trials and errors yesterday was the day when it finally took place. When the time was ripe things started falling in place and whatever I thought I ought to do, I think, is done. Now, the wait is to see whether the magic will unfold.

T. V. Kamala
1946–2025
My mother, whom many of you know as @Lotus_moonbell, passed away on 6th Dec 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of love and learning.
She spent 18 years as a Tamil teacher, shaping young minds. But teaching was never just a job to her. Tamil was her companion and her window to meaning. She read deeply, questioned fearlessly, and found poetry not only in literature, but in life itself.
Her handwriting was as graceful as her thinking. Even a simple note in her hand looked like something worth preserving.
She was strong-willed, independent, and progressive in ways that were subtle but unmistakable.
In her final hours, fully aware and fully present, she shared her last learning.
“I have learnt that it is easier to live than to die.”
These were not words of fear, they were understanding, leaving is an act of surrender beyond strength or will.
To me she was a mother, a teacher, and a mirror.
I will miss her voice, her pen, her gentle humour, and her steady presence she brought into our lives.
The song embodies all that she was and will be.

It is that time of the year where our smartphone apps start churning out the year wraps for us and Spotify has come up with something they call the "*listening age*". Have you heard/tried? What do you think of it?
Karthik 🇮🇳@beastoftraal
Spotify’s 'listening age' is a masterclass in productized storytelling. Spotify takes raw behavioural data and reframes it as an identity insight. It turns something mundane (your top songs) into something socially shareable and emotionally sticky. Brilliant new gimmick this year in Spotify Wrapped and this 'listening age' is the one I saw many, many people share online since it seems so unique, and divergent from their biological age. #data #marketing #storytelling

A teacher gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it, and throw it in the hallway.
The teacher then mixed all the balloons. The students were given 5 minutes to find their own balloon.
Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon, At that point, the teacher told the students to take the first balloon they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it.
Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon. The teacher said to the students, "These balloons arelike happiness.
We will never find it if everyone is
looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."
May your day be filled with happiness!🎉
