It might not be another AI model. @chrismeermi, Founding Partner of Cherry Ventures explains: "AI is very energy-hungry. All these data centers need lots of energy, and that needs to come from somewhere." So Cherry backed @proximafusion, a fusion energy company. The logic is simple: If AI is the future, energy production is the bottleneck. They're also backing @QantGmbH, making photonic chips that work with light instead of electricity. Much more efficient. Sometimes the biggest outcome might not be the most obvious one.
